Frustrated with Sex Scenes in Books
I am so tired of how the publishing industry handles sex scenes in books. I'm tired of having to check for sex scenes in books and sometimes missing it. I'm tired of trusting authors because of past books only to be taken off-guard in later ones. I'm tired of picking up books marketed towards teens only to find an explicit scene at the end (books for teens shouldn't have sex scenes in them and you will never change my mind on that). One of my very favorite parts of parenting is reading aloud with my kids. I've loved it since my first was a baby (she loved to sit and be read to, even at a really young age!) and it's only gotten more fun as they've gotten older.
