What's in our Easter Baskets? 2026
Easter isn't as big as Christmas for us, but I have fun with their baskets each year. We kept their baskets under $100 each and decided to only do baskets for the kids this year, not us parents. We always keep candy to a minimum in the baskets, but this year I especially am because that weekend is also General Conference and we have some big candy traditions with that. A Spring Day in the Life of a Reading and Writing Homeschool Mom of 5
As Leah nears her first birthday, I am feeling like I am mostly out of surivival mode. Life as a homeschool Mom of five is still crazy, but I am able to find time for some of my hobbies again, give my older kids the time and attention they need, and spend some kid-free time with Ben. Our Favorite St. Patrick's Day Traditions!
St. Patrick's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays as a kid, because I did Irish Step Dancing and it was a busy season for us. As a Mom, I have so much fun sharing my love of all things Irish with my kids on this holiday and making it fun for them. As with all holidays, the best traditions are the ones that everyone in the family loves--and that includes Mom!
